L. Jean Loesch was born to George and Mona Peltier, Dec. 27, 1929 in Meeker.
She moved to Rifle in 1943 where she attended Junior High and High School. While attending Rifle High she met Russell Loesch, whom she married Dec. 26, 1948. They made their home in Rifle where they worked and raised their two daughters. Jean enjoyed reading and cooking new dishes.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, George Peltier.
Survivors include her husband, Russell; daughters, Debra Lyells and Shelly (Jim) Bunton of Rifle; sister, Arleta Robinson of Littleton; brother, Harlan "Dutch" (Marlene) Peltier; grandsons, Shane Bunton of Westminster and Doug Lyells of Rifle; granddaughter, Brandi Bunton of Phoenix Ariz.; great-granddaughter Audra Lyells of Rifle; and many nieces and nephews.
No services are planned. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to E. Dene Moore Care Center, Recreation Dept.
