Deadline for Mountain Fair Art

• Design deadline for this year's Carbondale Mountain Fair poster and T-shirt contest. This year's theme is “Localmotion.” The winning artist will receive $500 for the use of their design plus 10 T-shirts. All requirements are listed at carbondalearts.com.

Spring Clean Up

• Second annual Spring Clean Up, sponsored by City of Rifle and Garfield County landfill. Pick-ups are as follows: West of Railroad Avenue and Highway 13 and south of I-70, Sunday night, April 26. Volunteer Training

• The Garfield Re-2 Board of Education would like Rifle, Silt and New Castle citizens help address the skills students will need to be successful after graduation and will be the basis for new State of Colorado and local high school graduation requirements.
