Editor,
Let's see if I have the ski resort situation right, especially for the Aspen Skiing Co. and the ski resorts in Glenwood Springs and Mesa County.
Overall, at the moment it is snowing, but no ample money amounts flowing into their cash and receivable accounts. In other words, snow with no dough, a major balance sheet current asset dilemma.
As Mr. Ken Wallace at the Los Angeles Headquarters of the U.S. Small Business Administration used to repeatedly say over the years about me and those who should be wise enough to listen to me and put big money in my pockets, "Emzy, you've got the brains and the deals. They've got the cash and the wheels."
I am sure these ski resorts and the chambers of commerce supporting them have more people and committees solving problems, researching and coming up with money-making ideas that, of course, out number me. However, I am worth far more than all their weight combined in gold, silver and platinum with US$1 trillion worth of special drawings rights thrown in for kicks.
In October, I E-mailed the chambers of commerce from Aspen to Grand Junction that I had several lecture topics their members would find valuable and insightful to guide and enrich them during this prolonged financial mess and economic panic. The topic list is most impressive.
I know that even a Dartmouth College graduate, if intelligent, would acknowledge my prowess and comprehensive knowledge that is cutting edge concerning business practices, economic integration and upscale sales and special event promotion. All one needs to do is review and analyze what appeared in the periodicals one has read over the years.
I look forward to being a guest speaker at several business meetings and conferences in the near future.
