Come and get it
Quintin Anderson of Rifle takes some money from an EnCana Oil & Gas worker who would only identify himself as Trent at a lemonade stand by the West Rifle Interstate 70 interchange. The 9-year-old boy and his adult Pal with YouthZone sold lemonade all last week to raise funds for YouthZones Kiss-n-Squeal fundraiser.

If Quintin Anderson gets to kiss a pig by winning YouthZones annual Kiss-n-Squeal fundraiser, Its going to be my ribs for dinner, the youth said.
The 9-year-old Rifle boy may be well on his way to a smooch with a swine who then ends up on his dinner plate.
Anderson and his adult YouthZone Pal, Mark Hanson, spent five days, July 14-18, under the hot summer sun on Garfield County Road 264, near the West Rifle Interstate 70 interchange, selling lemonade to thirsty natural gas workers who drove by.
When they find out its all for YouthZone, some of the them will buy 20 cups, Hanson said.
The two Pals also barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs for the hungry workers at lunch time. Free candy and cookies went along with the lemonade or bottled water, too.
Andersons sister, Miranda, helped out by holding a hand-lettered lemonade sign as trucks drove by on the dirt road.
Hanson said the two raised around $1,000 for YouthZone by manning the lemonade stand.
YouthZone's "Kiss-n-Squeal fundraiser is run like a political campaign. Each $1 collected equals one vote. The candidate with the most money at the end of the campaign wins the grand prize of kissing a pig. This years goal is $90,000.
All monies raised in the event go directly to programs for area youth and families.
During a brief lull in business on Friday, Anderson talked about being part of YouthZones fundraiser.
It makes yourself feel better, because you did the right thing, he said.
